This is written for someone who gives so much and has to learn to
take.
The broken pieces bit by bit he picks off from the floor
With tenderness he mends her heart to be a whole once more
The cracks remain but time will heal the pain which is inside
For now she needs someone who does help her to change the tide
Slowly he makes her realize she must go on with living
And that in her life she has to take, it is not all just giving
He lets her choose the path to go as long as there’s no fears
Which might hurt her again and break her heart and start anew the
tears
With time he fills the cracks; but scars will still remain
She learns to take the love he gives and does forget the pain
She feels her body tremble every time when he is near
His voice like silver bells from heaven is ringing in her ear
Her soul and body floats in space; he opened a new door
She loved in life so many men, but was never loved before.
